monthly dinner club
If you are new here, let me explain about my dinner club.
About 2 years ago, I joined 4 other blogger friends and created a virtual dinner club.
Every month, we have a theme, and we each create a tablescape to go along with our theme.
We also create a menu to go along with our theme, and we take turns with each of the courses, and share a drink, appetizer, 2 side dishes, main entree and a dessert.
We are hoping that some day we might actually be able to have a dinner all together and in person.
Last year, we decided to invite a guest host every month, and this month we are happy to have Kristin from White Arrows Home joining us.
Kristin lives in a log home in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and is the queen of all things cozy, cabin and plaid. Be sure and pop over and say hello.
This month our theme” was “Christmas at the Cabin”.
I love using natural elements in my home decor and tablescapes so I really enjoyed creating this table by bringing in things from the outdoors.
There’s just something gratifying about walking into my own yard or garden and cutting things to bring inside and use for decor.
I even enjoy walking through my neighborhood and picking up things like acorns or pinecones or cutting cedar or pine branches to use in arrangements throughout the holidays.
Not only are the natural elements beautiful, they add character and best of all it’s free!
