Good Morning friends, and welcome to Saturday Morning Gather.

If you are new here, welcome and thanks for joining us!

And if you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you!!

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

on the blog

This week on the blog I shared a tablescape I created for Halloween. I used mostly things I already had, plus a few dollar store items.

If you missed that, you can see it here.

I also shared how to make an inexpensive and creative sign or backdrop. I have used this method several times using a dropcloth or other type of fabric and a fabric marker.

This year, I made a cute sign for my entryway for Halloween. You can see it here.

in other random news

I spent the first part of the day at the ER on Wednesday. Woke up with abdominal pain, which continued to increase. I couldn’t get in to see my doctor so we opted for the ER.

The short version is that after blood work and a CT scan, and nothing showed up abnormal, they assume I have a kidney stone. Because they inserted dye, for the scan, they weren’t able to see the stone on the scan.

After IV pain meds, that didn’t phase the pain, then morphine, they sent me home. I finally got a little relief and was able to sleep for several hours.

Woke up and felt fine, other than being really weak.

As I am typing this, I still haven’t passed, said kidney stone, so I’m still not sure if that is/was the problem.

Stay tuned……

And by the way, I have NEVER been in that kind of pain before!!! These things aren’t for sissys!

Between company this past weekend, our regular laundry and changing over the Airbnb three times in the past week, I have done 21 loads of laundry in 3 days!

That’s why I want my laundry room to be pretty, because some weeks I spend a lot of time in here.
