I love to meet with you here on Saturday mornings and share what’s been going on during the week, and fun and inspiring things I find during the week that I think you will enjoy.

Last week was my virtual monthly dinner club and we hosted a chowder cook-off.

We each made a different recipe and they all sound so good!

Here is my rustic fall table I created for our chowder dinner in case you missed it.



And I made roasted corn and shrimp chowder, and you can see and print the recipe here.

And this week, I joined in with a group of Instagram friends and created a simple fall tablescape using things I already had on hand.

And lastly, I shared 11 ways to decorate with dried hydrangeas for fall.

in other random news

It has been a crazy busy week getting finished up with my fall decorating, and a few projects I’m working on.

I just love the fall season! The change in the weather after a brutal hot summer in Texas is such a welcome relief.

I love the crisp mornings and enjoying coffee on my front porch, shopping for pumpkins, the smell of my favorite fall candle and anticipating the first fire in our outdoor fireplace.
