If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

on the blog….

On the blog this week I shared these yummy heart shortbread cookies.

They are one of my favorite cookies and I’ve been making them for years.

They’re not only delicious, but beautiful.

As you may already know, I am one of the hosts for the Fabulous Friday Link Party.

February is our 1 year anniversary, and in honor of our birthday we are giving away a $100 Amazon Gift Card to one lucky winner.

If you are a blogger, be sure and link one of your posts on the Fabulous Friday Link Party every week in February to be entered to win.

in other random news…

I have been working in California for a client this past week. This is my 3rd trip in the past 8 months, and I can’t begin to tell you how blessed I am to be working on this home.

The weather here is beautiful and the view is unbelievable.

We’ve been doing quite a bit of shopping for home decor this trip, and of course I have picked up a few treasures for myself.

Here is one of my favorite things I found at an Estate Sale Warehouse. It was marked $20 and when I got to the register it rang up for 20% off.

Remember the iconic house from the Top Gun movie?

Well, it was moved to Oceanside, California and is now home of High Pie shop, and is only a few miles from the home I am working on.

In all the trips I’ve made here, we have never had a chance to go, but last night we finally made it there.

It is the cutest place and the pies were amazing. They are tiny square fried pies with fruit fillings.

You can take a look at my stories on Instagram today to see a video tour.
