Citrus Rosemary Cocktail

This super easy cocktail is so light and refreshing. It's the perfect summer cocktail!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2-3 sprigs rosemary
  • 1 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1-2 ounces vodka
  • lemon wedge or slice (for garnish)
  • rosemary sprig (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Make simple syrup. Heat 1 cup water and 1 cup sugar until boiling. Stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Turn off heat and add rosemary sprigs.
    Steep until the mixture is cool.
    Remove rosemary stems, pour into glass jar and refrigerate.
    This mixture will keep about a week in the refrigerator.
  • Squeeze juice from a lemon.
  • Add 1 ounce lemon juice, 1 ounce chilled rosemary simple syrup and 1-2 ounces vodka to a beverage glass.
  • Top off with chilled club soda or Topo Chico.
  • Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of rosemary.
