Saturday Morning Gather #42 – Hello November

gath•er: to come together or bring together into one group, collection or place

If you are new here, welcome.

Saturday Morning Gather is my weekly newsletter where I share things going on at Vintage Home, and also inspiration and things I have found during the week that I think you might enjoy.

If you’ve been around a while, as always, I am so grateful to you!! I truly appreciate you showing up and continuing to support my blog.

Gather round and grab your coffee or favorite morning drink of choice and let’s take a look at what’s been happening this week.

First of all, how in the world is it already November??

I can’t believe Thanksgiving and the Christmas holidays are right around the corner!

I have already started thinking about my holiday decorating and ordering a few things that run out of stock quickly.

And, I’ve made a pretty big dent in my shopping list already. Yay!!!!!

This week on the blog, I shared an amazing pumpkin cheesecake recipe that is perfect for your Thanksgiving dinner, and any fall gathering you are hosting or attending.

Nothing says fall quite like Pumpkin anything, and your guests will love it!!!

And last week on the blog, I shared a Friendsgiving brunch tablescape that monthly dinner club hosted.

These amazing pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting were my contribution to the menu. Pop over and take a look at the rest of the menu that my dinner club created for our Friendsgiving brunch.

Thanks so much to Cara from Vintage Style Gal, for featuring my Halloween tablescape in the Whimsey Home Wednesday Link Party! Be sure and check out their link party every week to see lots of inspiration and ideas.

I made this cute wreath from oak leaves that had fallen at my moms house and a $3 thrifted grapevine wreath. It only took a few minutes to make and I love the natural look of it.

Foraging things from nature is one of my favorite things to add to my neutral home decor. It adds so much texture and character and doesn’t cost a thing!

I love the look of twinkle lights at night! There is just something magical about them.

I’ve been wanting them in my backyard for quite a while and we just don’t have a great place to hang them, but this weekend Mr. VH rigged something up, and I am smitten!!

There are more than what shows in this pic, but you get the idea.
